Marketing Manager Job Description At McD BERL, we're proud of the services we provide to our valued customers. We're looking for a highly skilled marketing manager to help us promote our services and identify what consumers want so we can create more to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. Candidate should be able to lead a team of writers, designers, and account managers and interact with clients on a regular basis. The role also requires a deep understanding of what makes people tick, as well as a drive to deliver solutions that make a difference. Objectives of this role Collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies. Oversee and grow the marketing department by identifying revenue opportunities among established clients and by securing new accounts Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team. Responsibilities Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales Develop and initiate approval process so that all creative marketing materials - produced by Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, Activation, Digital, etc - reflect the strategic and creative standards set forth by Consumer Marketing Analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies and marketing staff and make necessary adjustments Execute and identify top 3 marketing channels of qualified opportunity sources, and help the GTM team predict ROI from marketing investments at the earliest Create positioning statements and campaigns that resonate with our target buyers Manage advertising campaign and creative - print, outdoor, digital, coop advertising Develop communications and launch campaigns to include promotions and sales channel strategy to meet business objectives Review account specific events and plans, create strong alliance with Sales leadership to ensure key account plans are aligned with brand strategies and present to accounts to secure buy-in of marketing programs Spearhead collaboration/partnership with global marketing and other cross functional groups to ensure successful delivery of local market needs and effectiveness of marketing programs Serve as project manager for releases, collaborating with promotion, media, digital marketing, creative, and sales staff Desired Skills: Master's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications Direct all production and planning of photo shoots, in studio (look book) and on location (ad campaigns) - negotiate contracts, select models, photographers, locations, studio, artists, working collaboratively with cross functional departments (such as in house creative agency, photography department, etc.) Direct experience in the consumer discipline, consumer promotion is a plus Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are essential for this highly collaborative position Ability to formulate creative strategies, strategically assess executional options, think creatively, and provide detailed follow-through on campaigns is required Develop the overall strategy and manage the SEO, SEM, and email programs and relationships with agencie
