Job description: About Give Grants Give Grants enables large Indian corporations to deliver maximum social impact. Over the last 20 years, Give has partnered with hundreds of companies - from large ones like ICICI, HDFC, TCS, Google, Microsoft, Amex, KPMG, Coca Cola to new-age startups like Flipkart, Ola, Myntra and others - to drive corporate philanthropic giving in India. Through the India Covid Response Fund (ICRF), we partnered with various institutions globally to deploy INR 800+ crore of institutional grants (CSR, foundations & employee giving). In Oct 2022 Give acquired the CSR business from Goodera and combined with its own institutional giving practice, to launch Give Grants with a sharp focus on 'making CSR giving better' in India. Give Grants is now an end-to-end giving partner with offerings that include: a SaaS platform for CSR monitoring & evaluation and compliance a wide range of CSR services including partner identification, diligence, monitoring & evaluation, impact reporting, compliance and impact assessment CSR focused collectives About the role Give (earlier GiveIndia) is a well known brand within the social impact space. Give Grants however came into existence in late 2022 and has limited awareness and recall. Our target audience is CSR decision makers at India's 1000 largest corporations - CSR heads, CSR committee members, board of directors, and CXOs (founder, CEO, CHRO, head of corp comm). We are looking for a marketing lead who can - take ownership of marketing strategy and execution develop the brand positioning for Give Grants, and for individual offerings drive awareness and recall amongst our target audience drive continued engagement with the CSR community Responsibilities and outcomes - Branding build and execute a marketing strategy to position Give Grants as a CSR and social impact thought leader create awareness and recall for Give Grants within the CSR community Content Marketing develop innovative content that can break through the clutter, across formats and platforms - social media (primarily Linkedin) emails webinars podcasts PR website offline events and industry forums Communities and events create Give Grants curated communities for CSR leaders to interact and engage with each other manage Give Grants B2B events and convenings over a period of time engage with existing events and forums Content and design support for sales collateral (case studies, pitch decks etc) product teams (key reports, thought leadership pieces) This is a high visibility, hands-on role in a startup environment. You will be driving the creation of a B2B focused social impact brand from scratch. The list given above is indicative, and the role will need innovative thinking and hustle beyond doing the obvious. This is an individual contributor role and you will be working with content agencies / a small inhouse team / freelancers for content development and specific technical skills. You will be successful if you come with 7+ years of overall experience with 2+ years in a marketing lead role A genuine interest to be in the social impact sector (prior exposure to CSR / social impact / NGOs is relevant, but not necessary) Prior experience with B2B brands, with the ability to bring creative, out-of-the-box thinking to the table Interest in branding, and a strong appreciation of design Comfort with leveraging marketing technology and tools, including generative AI tools Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment - high independence, need for being hands-on, limited budgets and limited time!
