Job Purpose:
The role entails primary responsibility for procurement of all Marketing products and services for the bank while ensuring cost efficiency. This is a vital role which is accountable for the smooth functioning of the day to day maintenance and facilities of the bank and contributes to maintaining overall efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop Marketing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Actively manage sourcing activities relating to business models, via management of RFQ RFP & RFI, key sourcing processes and quotation analysis / negotiation.
- Act as the bridge/conduit between the service providers (vendors) and business teams.
- Spearhead the vendor management program to ensure smooth governance and high operational efficiencies.
- Responsible for issuance of purchase order post acceptance by business team.
- Ensure early engagement with all levels of management within the bank to determine needs, develop strategies and plan and provide procurement sources in support of those needs.
- Leads the requisitioning and vendor pay-outs for (ESG).
- Ensure all establishment related compliances.
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
- Prepare procurement reports for senior management.
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team.
- Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities.
- Drive Savings: Develop saving plans for the identified projects and work with expense line owners to explore savings opportunities through operational excellence.
- Keep abreast with Marketing procurement management and global procurement process benchmarks to employ best practices.
- Collaborate strongly with the business/ support units and provide them with requisite materials and services that help them in their day to day operations.
- Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and costs via maintaining relevant scorecards.
- Build, groom and retain top-class procurement talent pool to enable high levels of process efficiencies.
- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure
Educational Qualifications:
Graduation: Bachelor's in engineering / Technology / Math's / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Engineering / Management.
Experience: 10 to 18 years of relevant experience.
