JOB SUMMARY The content manager should have experience managing the different phases of content campaigns for companies: (1) information gathering, (2) understanding requirements (3) content development and editing (4) content optimization for search engines (5) content publication (6) measuring content performance. Content is defined in this context as multimedia articles, blog posts, images, or videos that help to foster online engagement. A Content Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a company's content strategy, including creating various forms of content such as blog posts, videos, white papers, ebooks, social media posts, and webinars. They work closely with their team of content writers to ensure that high-quality, engaging content is created that aligns with the company's business goals and target audience. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in content, strong writing and editing skills, and knowledge of SEO best practices and marketing metrics. They will also possess excellent project management and team leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, and design. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and business goals. Create and manage an editorial calendar that includes blog posts, social media content, videos, webinars, whitepapers, and other content formats. Write and edit high-quality, compelling, and informative content that resonates with the target audience and supports the company's messaging and branding. Ideate engaging visual content, such as images, infographics, and videos, that help to communicate the company's brand and value proposition. Manage and oversee the work of content writers, ensuring that they produce high-quality content that aligns with the company's voice, tone, and messaging. Collaborate with other teams, such as SEO, social media, and design, to ensure the content is optimized for search engines, user experience, and lead generation. Monitor and analyze the performance of content campaigns using metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion, and retention rates. Identify content gaps, trends, and opportunities through market research, and customer feedback. Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends, best practices, tools, and technologies. Manage freelancers, and internal resources to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English or any related 4-6 years of experience in Content/Marketing Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of successful content campaigns. Experience in creating engaging visual content, such as images, infographics, and videos. Experience in managing and overseeing the work of content writers, ensuring that they produce high-quality content that aligns with the company's voice, tone, and messaging. Knowledge of SEO, social media, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and project management software. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance.
